About
J Wickham currently lives in Fenton, Michigan, where he works at spinning yarns for his children and fans alike. He is the author of the "Epic Forgotten" series, and has published "The Girl in the Rain" and the sequel, "Through a Watery Veil". The third in the series, "Across Lakes of Sorrow" is slated for a late 2020 release.

As young as six, Jay began his love affair with writing, creating his own tales (and illustrating them) to entertain friends and family. The stories only became more involved and complex in high school, studying creative writing and discovering classic literature, and co-authoring a popular ongoing comic series that had quite a following. The next logical step became studying Literature and History at the University of Michigan, where his writing of historical papers drew attention and he was inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta Honors Society (2003).
After college and starting a family, things slowed down enough to return to the writing desk, finishing his first novel, "The Girl in the Rain" (2011), and writing pieces for S.L.A.M. (Support Local Arts and Music) magazine. This breakout novel spent many weeks in the top 50 on HarperCollins' "Authonomy.com" site and had favorable reviews from his contemporaries.
The Girl in the Rain became part of the ambitious "Book Genome Project" in 2013, and was catalogued, analyzed and compared to authors like Ray Bradbury, John Grisham and even Stephenie Meyer (who knew?).
